Since its foundation in 2005 VAT Resource has been able to successfully support international companies with reviewing, optimizing and maintaining an accurate VAT treatment of business transactions.

Rather than advising companies from the outside one of our differentiators is to closely work with local personnel at the premises of the company. Our VAT specialists and related rates accommodate such an approach.   

In today’s international –and often complex- business practice of companies it has become almost impossible to separate individual aspects of VAT treatment, but in broad terms we distinguish three areas of expertise: VAT compliance, VAT interim management and VAT automation. Our specialists are generally familiar with all these aspects, but we do recognize that individual challenges at our customers require tailored solutions and related specialist. Depending on the company, the assignment and the available expertise and manpower internally, we often work with a small team of experts on the ground (for example a VAT compliance person and a VAT Manager).

Although in practice the way VAT Resource is supporting its clients varies, in general we recognize a pattern whereby an initial review of the actually processes is followed by implementation of improvements in the processes, followed by a (future) automation of the process and –if the client desires- consolidation or outsourcing the compliance process.
